Xylan, TFE & Kynar Coating
Xylan Coating
Xylan coatings provide tailored properties to functioning surfaces. Xylan coatings provide lubrication and controlled friction, wear resistance, heat resistance, nonstick and release properties and, at the same time, can also protect from corrosion.
Xylan coatings solve the problems created when the ideal material for use in engineering construction has the wrong surface properties. Parts made from materials with optimum strength, weight and cost may corrode, seize or adhere. Xylan coatings provide the working surface, tailored to the application.

TFE Coating
Tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) industrial coatings can be used on carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, steel alloys, brass and magnesium, as well as non-metallics such as glass, fiberglass and some rubber and plastics. Haward Corporation has been applying TFE products since 1965 and has the expertise and experience to ensure optimum adhesion with every application.

Kynar
Kynar series coatings are used to form a “polymer barrier” which is twenty to thirty mils. thick. This protective coating is typically used to line chemical processing industry (CPI) vessels. It is specified because of its unique properties: unaffected by most chemicals and solvents, abrasion resistance, mechanical strength, and toughness.
